Have you ever wondered if the various medications you are taking are having adverse effects on your health? Have you ever had an allergic reaction to a medication you are taking? Our next speaker Dr. Daniel Wagner PhD will be addressing issues such as this and more.
Dr. Dan Wagner is a graduate of the Duquesne School of Pharmacy. He has has 44 years of experience as a Pharmacist and Pharmacy owner. He received an MBA is 1993 and his Doctorate in Pharmacy in 2000 from Ohio Northern University.
Dr. Dan has spent many years researching the origins of many of our modern pharmaceutical drugs and has traveled extensively to the rain forest of South America, Central America and Africa. Dr. Dan is also president of The World Health Vision, an NGO that travels to Third World countries in Africa and South American doing humanitarian programs to promote health and well-being.
He has received numerous awards and was recognized as “PA Pharmacist of the Year” in 1996. He was recognized in 1996 as as one of “The Fifty Most Influential Pharmacist in America” by American Druggist Magazine. In 2000 he was named “Pharmacist of the Year” by Drug Topics magazine. Dan host a weekly radio show on WKHB in Greensburg entitled ‘Adventures in Natural Medicine’. The Tribune Review Best Pharmacist in North Hills Gold Award, 2006, 2007, 2012

The Asservo Project
What do you know about human trafficking and child exploitation? Did you know that human trafficking is one of the fastest growing criminal enterprises? This week we have Joseph Sweeney the CEO and Founder of The Asservo Project right here in Allegheny County.
The mission of The Asservo Project is to combat global human trafficking and sexual predators, support the recovery of victims, and aid in the imprisonment of perpetrators.
Joseph Sweeney serves as the Founder/CEO of The Asservo Project. For over 25 years, Mr. Sweeney has devoted himself to serving his country and community as a former SWAT Operator, Bomb Squad Commander, and U.S government Explosive Security Specialist. While serving overseas for Anti-Terrorism programs, he had conversations with colleagues about child kidnapping and human trafficking. Once aware of the size and scope of this epidemic and the lack of efforts to combat it, he felt he had to do something to help these people and, consequently, The Asservo Project was formed. They provide resources to assist Law Enforcement, conduct awareness seminars, and build relationships with global organizations.
Mr. Sweeney is also the former International Director of the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators (IABTI) and currently serves on its Board of Trustees. He is also a member in good standing with the National Tactical Officers Association.
