Zambelli Fireworks

Zambelli Fireworks has been referred to as the first family of fireworks. It dates to 1893 and typically puts on over 1600 fireworks shows a year.

Anthony Zambelli emigrated from Italy in 1893 to establish Zambelli Fireworks in nearby New Castle, PA. Zambelli established his company as one of the best worldwide and set the bar as an industry standard for fireworks design and technology.

Zambelli Fireworks continues as a family enterprise and is led by Dr. George Zambelli, Antonio’s grandson.

Zambelli now has its corporate headquarters in nearby Warrendale. Mike Valliserri, Director of Zambelli fireworks will enlighten us about the many aspects of the company in his presentation.

Robin Cole – Former Steeler

Well Steeler fans prepare yourself for a real treat. Our guest will be another member of the famed Steel Curtain, Robin Cole.

Robin was born in 1955 in Compton, Ca. He was one of ten children and played his high school football at Compton High. He went on to the University of New Mexico where he earned All American honors and became the first player to be drafted in the first-round from that school. As a first-round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers he replaced Andy Russell as right outside linebacker. He played linebacker and defensive end for twelve seasons and played in Super Bowl XIII and Super Bowl XIV. He was elected to the Pro Bowl in 1984. He ended his Pro career with the New York Jets in 1988.

Mr. Cole makes presentations to many corporate groups, sports teams, churches, schools and prisons. He trained at the Ford Motor Institute to be a dealer. In addition, he has served on several charitable boards including the American Heart Association, March of Dimes, Big Brothers and Big Sisters. He is a lifetime member of the NAACP. Finally, he is the co-founder and president of the Robin Cole Foundation. So, come out for a very interesting and entertaining presentation by Robin Cole.
